Although I am relatively new to the UI/UX world, I have always had a strong passion for design.

After many years of management in the music retail industry I decided to shift careers by entering a field that I am more passionate about. 

Since I was 10 years old, I remember drawing my own designs, from shoes to jet planes to electric guitars. I am always looking for ways to improve things to provide a more satisfying experience. After all, if something doesn't work well, you probably won't use it.

During my time as General Manager of Guitar Center, I was involved with every aspect of the business. The two most important things were creating a good employee culture and motivating my employees to meet our goals. In my first month as a General Manager, I increased our sales 30% and continued that trend through hiring and coaching the right staff.  In three months we were achieving an average of 115% of our yearly sales goal.

My success showed me that through hard work and determination, I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. It inspired me to dream bigger and pursue a new and exciting career path.
